ALBANIA
Heroina Deliu Bibliographer Agricultural University Scientific Library Tirana Albania FAX: 355-42-27804 1994 was the year when the library finally received computers and peripherals (Hewlett Packard and Vectra 486S/33V, laser printer, copier, etc.) as a part of the 5-year project for the improvement of Albania's agricultural documentation structure. The library participated in the French books exhibition organized by the French Embassy. The new Documentation Center was opened with the support of the Albanian Ministry of Agriculture and French Embassy in Tirana. Financial and professional support came from Germany and USA (Virginia Tech University). The library's 1994 acquisitions amounted to 776 books and 165 periodicals. |
