The rest are libraries at experimentation stations and others. The libraries continue to struggle with a lack of funds and professional staff, and with a limited access to foreign information sources. The Agricultural Library continued work on the electronic book catalogue, the database on Agricultural Literature of Belarus, and managed to purchase the AGRICOLA database. The library's holdings amounted to 5,000,000 units and the staff continued assisting other libraries by providing training courses and advice. |
