VENUE

Sessions of the Conference will take place in the conference room of the Research Institute for Animal Production, Nitra. Nitra is a historic city located in Western Slovakia, approximately 80 km from the capital, Bratislava.
How to reach the place of the Conference. Please see attached maps. Consider all possibilities and decide:

• By car you can drive according to the maps. To use Austrian and Slovak motorways you must buy Austrian and Slovak motorways licence.
• From Bratislava Airport you can take a taxi to Central bus-station and there change a bus to Nitra. From Nitra Central bus station you can take a taxi to your hotel.
• From Vienna Airport you can travel by bus to Bratislava Central bus-station and proceed as above.
• From Bratislava Central railway station you can take a taxi to Bratislava Central bus-station and proceed as above.
• For persons who are reluctant to change a transport several times, the organisers offer the option to transport from the Botel Gracia in Bratislava. You can get there by taxi. Someone from the organising institutions will meet you there. Those wishing to take up this offer must request it on the Registration form.

LANGUAGE

The official language during the Conference will be English.

PROCEEDINGS

Proceedings will be handed out at the conference.

REGISTRATION

To register for the Conference, and for the accompanying persons’ programme, please fill in the registration form and send it to the Organising Secretariat not later than March 20, 2005. Please indicate on the registration form your preferred hotel. Available hotel rooms will be assigned to participants on a “first come, first served” basis. If all available hotel rooms in a certain category are full, the nearest hotel will be automatically assigned.

Registration forms may be sent by mail, fax or e-mail (web-site).

REGISTRATION FEES

PARTICIPANTS

Payment of Euro 220 per head should be made not later than March 20, 2005 and Euro 250 per head after March 20, 2005.

Registration fee covers:

• Participation in the Conference
• Conference proceedings
• Lunches and coffee during the Conference
• Reception on Tuesday, April 26
• Visit to the farm and dinner on Wednesday, April 27

ACCOMPANYING PERSONS

Payment of Euro 110 per head should be made not later than March 20, 2005.

Registration fee covers:

Participation in the accompanying persons’ programme and reception on Tuesday, April 26, visit to the farm and dinner on Wednesday, April 27 and meals durig the Conference.

Visit to a chateau, a stud farm, a European bison (zubor) reservation. All are located in the picturesque town of Topolčianky, 40 km from Nitra.
