It is a great pleasure to invite you to participate in the International
Conference on Physiological and Technical Aspects of Machine Milking in
Nitra, Slovak Republic,
April 26 - 28, 2005.

THE
AIM OF THE CONFERENCE |
|
| |
|
|
|
The main aim of the Conference will be to exchange scientific and practical
knowledge on the subject of milking technology and physiology of milk let-down of down in dairy cows and
small ruminants. The Organising Committee would like to continue the approach taken at the International
Conference organised in 2001 in Nitra, Slovakia, under the auspices of the International Committee on Animal Recording (ICAR).
The Conference is organised in conjunction with a meeting of the Recording Devices Sub-Committee
of the International Committee on Animal Recording (ICAR).
Topics to be discussed at the Conference are:
- Physiology of milk removal
- Udder health status and milk quality
- Technical developments
- Cleaning and disinfecting
- Systems of maintenance
- Automatic milking systems in larger herds
- Socio-economic aspects
Experts from research and extension organisations, dairy and milking equipment
manufacturers, government bodies and managers of large dairy farms are invited
to participate in the Conference.
